Dane DeHaan becomes a father for the second time after wife Anna gives birth to baby boy Bert Apollo

Amazing Spider-Man 2 actor Dane DeHaan truly has something to smile about with his wife Anna Wood.

The couple proudly announced the arrival of their second child on social media on Thursday, with Dane, 34, captioning a photo of the family with ‘And just like that, we are a family of four … Welcome to the [world] Bert Apollo DeHaan!’ 

Bert arrived over the weekend, according to 34-year-old mom Anna, who also shared that ‘he is our rainbow baby.’

‘Not just because of the loss we suffered before we conceived him,’ the actress continued, referring to a previous miscarriage.

He also brings a hope and joy in this scary sad time for our nation and world. He was born weeks early in nyc in the middle of a global pandemic,’ she continued.

‘He is already a brave tiny warrior who has reminded us to live, love, and stay present in his five short days earthside,’ Wood, also an actor, added. ‘We can’t wait to keep learning from him. Meet Bert Apollo DeHaan!’

Anna wrote the candid message alongside the same family snap posted to her husband’s Instagram feed, which showed the DeHaan clan with daughter Bowie Rose, three, holding newborn baby Bert.

Wood and DeHaan, who met in high school and costarred in Dane’s breakout 2012 film Chronicle, married the same year of that movie’s release.

In 2017, they welcomed their first child, daughter Bowie, undoubtedly named for the legendary artist who died the year prior.

And just after Christmas last year, the Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets actor revealed via Instagram that they were expecting their second child, with the message ‘DeHaan Party of Four comin’ atcha in 2020!!!!’

The Allentown, Pennsylvania-born actor is most famous for playing perennially creepy and villainous roles, like in Chronicle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and A Cure for Wellness.

Soon, he will take on another creepy and buzz worthy role in an upcoming collaboration between Stephen King, J.J. Abrams and Apple, titled Lisey’s Story – based on the bestselling author’s novel of the same name. 

Dane will star alongside Julianne Moore, Joan Allen and Clive Owen in the limited series, which is written by King and spans eight hours.

The thriller stars Dehaan as a stalker named Jim Dooley opposite Lisey (Moore) and her late husband, who is portrayed by Owen.

Other recent projects DeHaan has wrapped include ZeroZeroZero, a drug drama from Amazon Studios that features Gabriel Byrne and Andrea Riseborough, and The Stranger, a Quibi thriller that premiered last month and co-stars Maika Monroe.

In The Stranger, Dane plays to type as a self-admitted sociopath who gets into a rideshare and informs his driver (It Follows sensation Monroe) that he just shot a woman in the face.
