Dakota and Elle Fanning are summer chic leaving a friend’s sweet 16 birthday party in Studio City

They are two of the most famous siblings in Hollywood, now living on the same coast.

Dakota and Elle Fanning were seen leaving a pal’s sweet 16 party on Monday in Studio City, California, each rocking bright and summery styles for the daytime affair.

Elle, 22, looked lost in thought while wearing a bright and cheery yellow smock dress. 

The hem of her garment was frilled, and it featured buttons down the front.

The Great star had on large sunshades, and she carried a red, green and white tote bag with small handles. 

The younger Fanning sister also sported pale pink sneakers on her feet.

Her blond hair was swept back into a casual messy bun held up with a scrunchie.  

Elle’s older sister Dakota, 26, wore a crisp white tee and slightly sheer white polka-dotted trousers.

The I Am Sam star carried a color Louis Vuitton tote over her shoulder, and wore squarish sunglasses.

The elder Fanning left her blond hair to hang down and straight.  

Not too long ago, Elle reflected on how nice it was to be living closer to her sister, who up until recently had been based in New York City. 

She told DuJour magazine last week that while she lives with her mother and grandmother in California when not filming, this time of lockdown has in fact been a lovely time for her to slow down and have quality moments with mom, grandma and Dakota.

‘It’s a rare occasion that we get to be together. So we’re enjoying each other’s company,’ she said.
