Australian cricketer Steve Smith and his wife, Dani Willis, weren’t able to spend Christmas together due to Sydney’s Covid-19 outbreak.
But the couple were finally reunited on Thursday for New Year’s Eve.
Taking to Instagram Stories, law graduate Dani, 28, shared a sweet photo of the pair cuddling up as they rang in 2021.

Dani wore a white robe and highlighted her natural beauty by going makeup free.
Meanwhile, Steve opted for a white T-shirt.

She had travelled from Sydney to Melbourne to be with her husband, after being apart for more than 120 days because of his sporting commitments.
She’d arrived in the Victorian capital before the borders were closed to Greater Sydney, which is the centre of a coronavirus outbreak, believing she would be able to join the team hub after just three days in isolation.
But unfortunately, she wasn’t granted access.

Before their botched reunion, Steve told fans he was excited to spend the festive season with his wife after months apart.

In an Instagram post, Steve shared a photo with Dani and wrote that he was counting down the days until their Christmas reunion: ‘114 days down and only 7 to go!
‘It’s been a long 4 1/2 months away from my wife, but I can’t wait for her to join me in Melbourne next week just in time for Christmas!’
Steve recently returned to Australia and completed two weeks of mandatory hotel quarantine after competing in the Indian Premier League in the UAE.
The Indian Premier League started on September 19.
Before that, he had also been away for a white-ball series in England in August.
During their time apart, Steve and Dani celebrated their second wedding anniversary on September 15.
Apart: The couple have spent more than 121 days apart because of Steve’s sporting commitments. He first left for England back in August for a white-ball series
