‘I thought who else have I learnt from, talked to – or has influenced me over my journey so far. Today’s pic is with the legend Tiger Woods!’ Shane captioned the post.

‘I’ve had the great pleasure of spending time with Tiger a few times as well and got to know the man – we both enjoyed discussing/swapping thoughts about the mental side of sport, mental toughness and overcoming setbacks!’

‘Lastly, we talked about entertaining people and messing with opponents heads – yep we both laughed about certain moments!’

Shane also revealed the backstory behind the photo with Michael Jordan at the Nike headquarters, taken in the 1990s.

‘Yesterday I posted a pic of Michael Jordan & I. What an honour that was to hang out with the great man and discuss what inspires him and drives him,’ he wrote.

‘Also, we talked about AFL and Cricket (He loved both sports).’

In the photo, Shane appears to have gifted Michael a Sherrin AFL ball as the NBA legend was holding one in his hand.

Michael was wearing a Chicago White Sox T-shirt, suggesting that the photo was taken in 1994 when he briefly retired from basketball to play Minor League Baseball.

This would mean Michael was 31 years old at the time while Shane was 24.

‘Really enjoyed the first two episodes of the Jumpman documentary and brought back some great memories of hanging with the great MJ at Nike!’ Shane captioned the post.

It appears Shane has been watching The Last Dance miniseries on Netflix, which is about Michael’s last season with the Chicago Bulls from 1997 to 1998.
