Last week, he thrilled fans when he posted black and white photographs of himself working out while going shirtless. 

And on Thursday, Australian musician Cody Simpson was back at it again as he shared a rather revealing workout video.

The 23-year-old singer posted to his Instagram story a clip of himself showing off his rippling abs and doing a series of hip thrusts.

The blond – who also has a keen interest in swimming – went shirtless and wore a pair of leggings as he worked out.

Cody – who is known for songs including La Da Dee and All Day – performed the move while holding onto two weights and while laying on a yoga mat. 

It comes after Cody flaunted his muscular physique in a series of black and white photos after a workout last week.

He went shirtless and wore a face mask while exercising, which he explained is for ‘oxygen deprivation training’.  

‘Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it,’ he captioned the pictures.

‘If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.’

In the photos, Cody wore black and white Puma workout shorts and he accessorised the look with a face mask.

However, fans were more impressed that Cody could manage to do all those exercises while wearing a mask.

‘Quick question how can you do all that while wearing a mask? What a king,’ wrote one follower. 

Cody was quick to give his explanation, replying: ‘Oxygen deprivation training.’

Oxygen deprivation training is when you restrict the air flow to your lungs during a workout to stimulate high altitude training.

Cody may have been familiar with the training method from his days as a competitive swimmer as it is thought to improve aerobic capacity, ultimately leading to faster swim times.
