‘I understand that I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. Some people like coffee, some people like soda. I happen to like Earl Grey and think it’s fabulous.’

Selling Sunset has proved to be a huge hit in the UK as well and Christine told how she has become a big fan of Gemma Collins along with This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

She said: ‘I love Gemma Collins and Strictly and Phil and, oh, what’s her name?…Phil and Holly! Amazing.’

Selling Sunset premiered in March 2019 and became more popular than ever during the coronavirus lockdown.

Christine put the show’s recent success down to people seeking glamour and escapism during the difficult lockdown period.

The show has aired three seasons so far and Christine hinted during her interview it has been renewed to at least season five, before adding: ‘Did I say that? Oops!’

The show was created by Adam DiVello, creator of The Hills and Laguna Beach after he spotted the annual billboard Bret and Jason Oppenheim put up for the show’s brokerage in the middle of Sunset Boulevard.

While the brothers initially had reservations about documenting their business on a reality show, Christine said she was the first one to embrace it.

Elsewhere during the interview, Christine discussed her wedding to millionaire businessman Christian Richard.

The star wore black for the ceremony, saying: ‘Everyone loves white but it’s such a cliché. I wanted to have an event, a party, I wanted to have something memorable that is bold and leaves people pondering.

‘It was very unapologetic. That was my overall theme for the wedding and it’s my overall theme for life.’

It comes after Christine recently admitted that she’s had plastic surgery and it takes ‘almost three hours’ for her to become the ‘full Christine’ for the cameras.

‘Do not take social media too seriously. [It’s] all just superficial. I don’t wake up looking like this!’ The Oppenheim Group realtor said in her Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam cover story.

‘Obsessive [body dysmorphic] disorder is a real thing. It costs a lot of money on makeup and aesthetics to look gorgeous. [I’ve enhanced my] breasts and lips, and I live with Botox.’
