Hollywood power couple Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky flew into Sydney from their home in Byron Bay via a private jet on Sunday.
The stars both left the coastal New South Wales town for the state’s capital city ahead of filming for their respective movies.
Chris, 37, is currently shooting Thor: Love and Thunder, while Elsa, 44, will appear in the upcoming movie-adaption of opera, Camen.

Chris has played the hammer-wielding Norse god Thor in the Marvel franchise since 2011, and has starred in eight movies as the superhero character.

Carmen, based on the opera of the same name, tells the story of a soldier who falls in love with an irresistible woman by the name of Carmen.
While the original was set in Spain, this adaptation will follow a Mexican woman’s search for freedom in Los Angeles.
The production, which was originally slated to take place in Mexico and LA, relocated to Australia due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
At this stage, it’s unclear what role Elsa is set to portray.

Thor: Love and Thunder is due for Australian cinema release in February 2022, while the release date for Carmen has not yet been announced
