But many fans may have failed to spot that British reality star Chantelle Houghton also makes an appearance in the first episode of The Tiger King.
In the clip, Chantelle, 36, strips down to her underwear and is covered head to toe in tiger body paint for a 2011 PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) campaign, as she protests against the likes of Joe Exotic.

He spends much of his time battling animal rights protesters who attack him for owning a legal and private zoo containing animals such as tigers and accuse him of breeding cubs.
The clip of Chantelle was taken from her 2011 protest outside Westminster, which garnered much media attention at the time.
While Joe Exotic does not own a circus, the clip was used because he had come up against PETA, who believe that it’s wrong to keep tigers in such zoos.
Other celebrities have been linked to personalities from The Tiger King.

But wants it to be known that doesn’t mean he’s pals with or even a fan of the now imprisoned Joe Exotic.
‘I was just a visitor,’ the basketball legend, 47, said in an episode of his The Big Podcast With Shaq. ‘I met this guy, not my friend. Don’t know him. Never had any business dealings with him, and I had no idea any of that stuff was going on.’

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘Y’all ready to talk about Carole Baskin sitting next to Britney Spears at the 2001 VMAs? And the Slave 4 U tiger belonging to Doc Antle?’
While another, referring to Antle’s three spouses, added: ‘Thank god Britney Spears had her own handlers because there is no doubt in my mind she would have been easily swayed into becoming one of doc antle’s wives.’
A third commented: ‘Let us never forget that Britney Spears started her 2002 VMAs performance inside a cage with one of Doc Antle’s tigers. Your pop girls today would never.’
Another, evidently appalled by Britney’s association with the animal handler, wrote: ‘…you mean to tell me the handle of the tigers onstage with Britney Spears at the 2001 VMAs during the “Slave 4 U” performance was that creep Doc Antle?!!

There have also been separate appearances on a host of mainstream talk shows, among them The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with David Letterman.
