Celine Dion shares a stunning photo in all black… days after thanking fans for ‘sharing your courage’ on the one year anniversary of her last album

She is one of the biggest music stars of her generation, and this week she is taking some time to show gratitude.

Celine Dion appeared in a stunning and attention-getting photo on her Instagram on Tuesday, in an all black ensemble in which she was splashing about with water.

The kinetic image showed the French Canadian diva, 52, covered in water droplets while wearing a crop top and what appeared to be shorts covered in long tassels.

The My Heart Will Go On songbird had her head turned away from the camera, and her arms and legs arranged in an expressive, dancerly pose.

She captioned the image, ‘As long as it took me to get here, Hard times were worth what I found’ adding an emoji showing sun shining through a storm cloud.

After crediting the photographer Paola Kudacki, Dion included two hashtags #thehardway and #courage.

Courage is in fact reference to the Grammy winner’s most recent album, which was released in November of 2019.

And to mark the one-year anniversary of her 12th English-language studio album, Celine again posted to her Instagram on Saturday, with a heartfelt message to fans.

The video snippet was set to her title track from the record, and included a bilingual message of thanks.

‘A year ago today, we released my album “Courage”. Looking back over this past year, we could never have predicted the challenges we would be faced with in our world,’ Celine began.

‘But through every step, I’ve seen examples of your courage in so many different ways, and this has given all of us promise for brighter days ahead. I hope that the songs from Courage have given you strength, encouraged you to sing and dance a little bit, and helped you through these difficult times.

‘Thank you for sharing your courage with me. Take good care and stay strong and healthy… we can get through this together – Love, Celine xx’ she concluded.
