And on Sunday, actress Cate Blanchett spoke about the terrifying moment she got caught in a storm with the cast and crew while filming a scene on a small ship in the middle of the ocean in Greenland.

In an interview on the Today show, Cate, 51, said: ‘There is a storm sequence in the film that is absolutely documented. We got caught in the eye of a storm.’

‘And that was a very bonding experience for cast and crew, shall we say,’ she added.

Cate went on to say she’s always been ‘obsessed by the ice’ and has wanted to visit the Antarctic.

‘I’ve been long obsessed by the ice and I’ve always wanted to go to the Antarctic. My mother met my father when his US navy ship was coming back from the Antarctic so I always wanted to go,’ she said.

‘I got as far as Greenland on the opposite pole. But I love the ice. I love the ice.’
