Carrie Ann Inaba says ‘bullies’ called out her low score for Kaitlyn Bristowe on DWTS

Carrie Ann Inaba didn’t hold back on an election day episode of The Talk after receiving flak from Dancing With The Stars fans for her scoring.

The 52-year-old Dancing With The Stars judge complained that overzealous bullies were targeting her on Twitter following Monday night’s episode of the dance competition.During the show she criticized Kaitlyn Bristowe and her partner Artem Chigvintsev for their jive dance.

The choreographer was adamant with her co-hosts that only her professional opinions affected her scoring.

Standing tall: Carrie Ann Inaba, 52, stood up for herself Tuesday on The Talk after DWTS fans criticized her for giving a low score to Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev

‘I still get bullied. Right about this time is when people start to bully me because of the way I judge people,’ she complained. ‘I can’t believe it still happens as adults.’

Carrie added: ‘I want to tell people who bully: It doesn’t make me change the way I judge. I’m not about to change because you try to bully me. It only makes me stand stronger in my convictions and what I believe in,’ she continued.

Carrie Ann reiterated that she was a professional doing her job, and not merely judging as a lark.

‘Just so you all know, for all of you trying to bully me about it, I judge the way I judge from my background,’ she said.

Not buying it: Neither Kaitlyn nor Artem looked pleased to hear Carrie Ann's feedback on Monday's episode, in which she complained that Kaitlyn had done a lift, rather than a jump

Neither Kaitlyn nor Artem looked pleased to hear Carrie Ann’s feedback, in which she complained that Kaitlyn had done a lift with Artem’s assistance, rather than a jump, though the other judges were mostly positive about the performance.

She previously upset the former Bachelorette by giving her a seven the week before.

‘At this point it starts being a little personal, I feel like,’ Artem said in a dual interview with ET on Monday night. ‘I feel it’s definitely, maybe not a different standard, but I feel like it’s different expectations. I don’t know.

‘I’m watching back the dance itself, it’s like, “Oh, you can kick sharper!” Well, I can say that about everybody who dances on the show today. I don’t know. It’s really odd.’

‘I would love to have her on the podcast, ask her a few questions. I don’t know! I don’t know!’ Kaitlyn jumped in.

‘It’s always reassuring to talk to other people and have them asking those same questions because we come back and we’re like, “Huh?” We’re good at accepting constructive criticism. We’re like, “OK, great, now let’s apply it. Thank you for the wonderful feedback.” With this one it’s like, “Huh? OK?”‘

Fans were up in arms on Twitter following Carrie Ann’s 25 out of 30 score for the reality star.

‘It’s actually getting painful to watch the amount of hate radiating from @carrieanninaba towards Kaitlyn. It’s not a good look,’ tweeted one fan.

‘Last week I let @carrieanninaba comments towards KB slide, however her arguing with Artem is classless,’ wrote another user. ‘Enough is enough! Whatever grudge your STILL holding is crystal clear. Give it up.’

Others claimed her comments were overly personal or rude toward Kailtyn and Artem, and some suggested her dating history with the professional dancer might have influenced her judging.
