It’s safe to say Cardi B’s upcoming track has nothing to do with beloved Disney Pixar movie of the same name.

The rapper extraordinaire, 28, took to Instagram on Monday to announce the release of her brand new single, titled Up.

Cardi eagerly shared the single’s cover art, which showed rocking a bedazzled sheer bodysuit as she posed in a transparent bubble chair suspended over a swimming pool.

A city skyline was visible in the background and Cardi’s pink heels could be seen in the reflection in the swimming pool beneath her. 

Her lustrous dark hair fell over her bodacious curves and she sported a long sharp white manicure. 

‘My new single “UP” drops this Friday! LETS GOOOOOO!’ the mother of one captioned the image, adding the hashtag #Up.

The star also took to her Instagram stories to urge her fans to preorder the promotional CD for the new song.

The single will mark Cardi’s first release since last year’s collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, titled WAP. 

That song dominated the airwaves and generated significant buzz for its NSFW content, along with an eye-popping music video featuring cameos by the likes of Kylie Jenner.

Also on Monday, the singer, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, took to Twitter with a pair of vulnerable posts in which she thanked her fans for their support.

‘I want to thank all my fans and everyone that genuinely support me,’ Cardi wrote.

‘I been preparing for this week for over a month. Unfortunately I’m not feeling how I wanted to feel today . I’m very happy that you guys are happy and just know I do this cause ya go so hard for me.’

Minutes later, she added a subsequent tweet: ‘I’m human and I believe that I’m strong but it’s just too much sometimes,’ the rapper continued, without referencing what specifically might have been troubling her.

The social media activity comes one day after Cardi teased the announcement in a video post on her Instagram, while standing on her staircase wearing a sexy bikini and garter getup underneath a long coat.
