Caprice, 48, puts safety first as she dons funky pink helmet during action-packed scooter ride in London park

She recently landed a singing role in an upcoming Christmas film.

Yet Caprice took some time away from the camera on Thursday as she headed out in London for an animated ride on a scooter through a London park.

The legendary model, 48, was getting well and truly into action mode as she rode along and even whipped off her chic coat to cool down mid-scoot.

Caprice looked chic in her autumnal ensemble, complete with rust coloured trousers a sleeveless camel top and an elegant coat to round out the look.

Ensuring safety came first, she wore a helmet over her sleek blonde locks and was also flawlessly dolled up with perfect make-up.

In August, it was revealed she will take on a singing role in the film for the first time since her lead in Rent on the West End and Debbie Does Dallas the Musical.

‘It is the first time she has sang in about 15 years, since her theatre days when she starred as the lead in Rent on the West End and Debbie Does Dallas the Musical.

‘She actually has a good singing voice! She saw the final script today at a meeting with the director.  Acting is something she wants to focus more on in the future and Caprice always tells pals that it is a great creative outlet for her.’

Caprice has spent lockdown at her London home with her millionaire husband, Ty Comfort, and six-year-old sons, Jett and Jax.

In June, she was shocked to learn that she tested negative for coronavirus antibodies, despite her family contracting the virus.

Before her trip, Caprice revealed she reached out to The Wanted’s Tom Parker following his terminal brain tumour diagnosis.

The model had a benign brain tumour herself that was removed during surgery three years ago and still lives in fear it may return.

Tom, 32, announced on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with the terminal and inoperable condition – where life expectancy ranges from three to 18 months.

The singer, who is expecting his second child with wife Kelsey, said the family were ‘devastated’ but vowed to ‘raise awareness of this terrible disease’ and ‘fight this all the way’ for the sake of his pregnant wife and their daughter.

When she heard the news, Caprice got in touch with the family after finding the revelation particularly heartbreaking due to her own terrifying experience.

She told The Sun: ‘It felt like the right thing to do. I don’t know him, but I felt deeply for him because I’ve been right there. Most people have no idea that brain cancer is the top cancer killer of those under 40.’
