Candice Warner reveals her husband David is considering Bollywood film offers

David Warner, 33, is enjoying new-found fame in India after his TikTok dance videos went viral in the country.

And the Australian cricket players wife Candice ,35, told The Herald Sun on Friday that a Bollywood film career might be on the cards.

‘David has had a few Bollywood directors approach him for some upcoming roles in films,’ Candice said.

Whether the batsman is seriously considering the new career remains to be seen, but Candice thinks anything is possible.

‘Sky’s the limit. He is the type. You never know what you are going to get with David,’ she said.

David’s Tik Tok clips, which also feature his wife and their three children, have amassed 218 million views since he joined the short-form video app in April.

The entire family have become huge stars in India, thanks to viral videos of them dancing to popular Bollywood songs.

David’s most popular TikTok video has attracted 52.3 million views alone, and features him dancing to the song Butta Bomma from movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, alongside his wife Candice.

A second video of David, Candice and their daughter Indi Rae, four, dancing to the song Ramuloo Ramulaa from the same movie, has been viewed 4.7 million views since Tuesday.

Another clip of David and daughter Indi dancing to Sheila Ki Jawani has had 22.4 million views since April 19, and is still going viral weeks even later.

David wouldn’t be the first Australian cricketer to succumb to the bright lights of Bollywood.

Former pace bowler Brett Lee made his debut in film Unindian in 2015.

The movie told the story of an Indian-Australian woman Meera, who pursued a relationship with Brett’s non-Indian character Will, much to her families dismay.

Not only was the film a smash hit, but Brett was sent to the top of India’s music charts with the romantic duet ‘You’re The One For Me’ he sung in the movie.
