Brittany Hockley slams her former Bachelor In Paradise co-stars who say they’ve been ‘edited’ to look like a ‘villain’ and admits their portrayals are ‘pretty accurate’

She took a second chance at finding love and ended up on the most controversial season of Bachelor In Paradise ever.

And on Tuesday, Brittany Hockley slammed her former co-stars, who have blamed a ‘bad edit’ for portraying them as villains on the series.

The 32-year-old radiographer admitted on her podcast, Life Uncut, that producers couldn’t edit things unless they happened in the first place.

Dishing the dirt! On Tuesday, while speaking on her Life Uncut podcast, Brittany Hockley (pictured)  slammed her former Bachelor In Paradise co-stars who say they’ve been ‘edited’ to look like a ‘villain’

‘For this particular season I feel a lot of people’s edits has been pretty accurate, to be honest,’ she told her co-host Laura Byrne.

‘They can take snippets of conversation to make it look like they’ve said something- but you can’t make someone’s whole storyline into a villain if they haven’t said anything at all,’ she said.

‘I think people use it as an excuse,’ she added.

Laura, who rose to fame while starring on Matthew ‘J’ Johnson’s season of The Bachelor in 2017 admitted she’d had a similar experience.

‘I wasn’t in Paradise… I know the people from my season who were portrayed badly acted badly in the house,’ she said.

‘When people come out and blame the edit… there is a level of responsibility to take… you had to say these bitchy things thinking it was funny…’ she explained.

Last week, Brittany’s former co-star Cassandra Mamone blasted the ‘editing tricks’ used to portray her as a ‘villain’ on the hit Channel 10 dating show, after she was shown making several catty remarks.

During the episode, Cassandra shut down fan favourite Niranga Amarasinghe and then said that intruder Jackson Garlick could ‘do better’ than Brittney Weldon.

But she told her Instagram followers these remarks had been taken out of context.

‘I own whatever comes out of my mouth directly, but I will not own pieces of different interviews at different times pieced together to steer a narrative,’ she said.

‘Thank you to those who realised the editing on this ripper… you’re the smart ones,’ she added.
