Brad Pitt’s rumored girlfriend Alia Shawkat picks up organic groceries in an inspired ensemble

Alia Shawkat stepped out on Wednesday to pick up some organic groceries at Erewhon Market in Los Angeles.

The Arrested Development actress, who has been romantically linked to Brad Pitt, had on a quirky outfit that consisted of a yellow blazer over a black top and shorts with yellow socks and Gucci loafers.

This sighting comes just a week after the 31-year-old apologized for using the N-word.

Only the best will do for her! Alia Shawkat stepped out on Wednesday to pick up some organic groceries at Erewhon Market in Los Angeles

Alia’s outfit stood out as she wore a mask and white framed sunglasses, but so did her hair.

The TV star seemed to have a shorter haircut with cropped bangs and a new jet-black color hinting that she has been visiting a hair salon.

Her mask was blue with red marks on one side.

She held an overstuffed bag from Erewhon, a store Megan Fox often shops at. The market only sells organic fare.

And in her other hand was a take out cup with orange juice in it.

The rumored girlfriend of 56-year-old Pitt recently found herself in hot water after a video resurfaced of her using the N-word while quoting Drake lyrics during an interview.

Shawkat has publicly apologized after a video of her using the N word in 2016 resurfaced on Twitter.

The video shows the the star casually throwing the slur around at a panel at South by Southwest, and seems to have flown under the radar until this week, when a Twitter user tweeted the clip at her and warned her to ‘watch herself.’

Shawkat responded on Instagram a week ago.

A fan of actress Skai Jackson — who has lately been exposing racists on Twitter — tweeted the clip on June 5.

In it, Shawkat is telling a story when she quotes a Drake lyric: ‘We were all at the penthouse together and everyone was looking around like, “N**** we made it!”‘

The clip has been viewed about 20,000 times, but it clearly caught Shawkat’s attention.

‘I am deeply sorry and I take full responsibility,’ she wrote.

‘It was a careless moment, one I’m ashamed and embarrassed by but vow to continue to learn from.

‘I regret using a word that carries so much pain and history for black people, as it is never a word to be used by someone who is not black.

‘I have been learning so much about what it truly means to be an ally. The voices of black people must be amplified and heard clearly.

‘As an Arabic woman, who can pass for white, I’m working hard to process this nuanced access I’ve been afforded and I realize how important it is to be hyper vigilant in the spaces I exist in.

‘I have been trying to understand the real definition of the word ally. It is more than simply believing in equality but to be willing to act with and for the black community.

She added: 'I am sorry that my ignorance has led to this moment. I will continue to support the black community as best as I can and to learn from this'

She added: ‘I am sorry that my ignorance has led to this moment. I will continue to support the black community as best as I can and to learn from this’

‘I aim to fight against these injustices that this isn’t about a title but an action to work against these systems that have protected me but not others.

‘I am sorry that my ignorance has led to this moment. I will continue to support the black community as best as I can and to learn from this.

‘We as non-black people must all take responsibility for the inactivity we’ve been comfortable to sit with that has so long — that has gotten us here.

‘Silence is violence, and so are the words we irresponsibly throw out. I plan to stay engaged and learn from my friends who are helping me understand,’ she said.

Interestingly, Shawkat posted her apology just hours before DailyMail.com shared an exclusive image of her rumored beau attending a 50,000-strong Black Lives Matter demonstration in Los Angeles.

Pitt rode his incredibly rare BMW motorcycle to the protest, where he was pictured wearing a helmet and a face mask outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in the heart of Hollywood.

The motorcycle enthusiast, who has a vast collection of bikes, looked relaxed in a hoodie, blue ripped jeans, shades and light canvas shoes.

In accordance with ongoing regulations in the fight against COVID-19, the star wore a bandanna as a makeshift face mask and gloves.

His appearance at the protest came not long after it was reported that Pitt and Shawkat had moved in together.

The pair were said to have formed a ‘tight bond’ that has been strengthened during quarantine – thanks in part to the fact that they live just ten minutes away from one another.

The actress, who is best known for her role in Arrested Development, was reportedly a frequent visitor of the Hollywood icon’s home throughout much of lockdown.

Shawkat and Pitt are understood to have met through mutual friends in 2019.
