Billie Faiers takes son Arthur, 4, for a walk in his leg cast during their staycation

She revealed on Tuesday that her family staycation wasn’t plain sailing as her son Arthur, four, had to get a leg cast after falling down the stairs.

And Billie Faiers, 30, shared a series of sweet snaps with her little one via Instagram as they went on a walk together on Wednesday.

Arthur appeared to be in good spirits despite the injury as he put on an animated display while sitting happily in his mother’s arms as they visited a lake in the Cotswolds.

Billie held onto her son’s hand as they walked by the lake and enjoyed the views, with Arthur walking by her side with his injured leg in a cast.

The Mummy Diaries star looked stylish for the stroll as she paired a pink-and-white tie-dye shirt with matching shorts, while Arthur looked adorable in a blue ensemble.

Her blonde locks were pulled back into a chic bun atop her head, and she used a light palette of make-up to embrace her natural beauty.

Gushing about how well her little one was coping with the injury, Billie wrote: ‘And his off … The first time walking since his accident … So proud of you my brave little darling [sic]’

On Tuesday Billie posted three pictures of her four-year-old ‘brave little soldier’ smiling after falling down the stairs at a lake house in the Cotswolds.

Billie revealed how Arthur had a ‘little accident’ on the ‘first day of holiday’ but ensured how herself and husband Greg Shepherd, 33, will not let it ‘spoil [his] fun’. 

Posting on Instagram, she captioned the pictures: ‘My brave little soldier. A little accident on our first day of holiday but we won’t let it spoil your fun my precious little darling.’ 

Greg also filmed his ‘little lad’ perched on steps at the holiday home donning his leg cast.

He asked: ‘What happened to your leg little man? You fell down the stairs and you was a brave boy wasn’t you?

Arthur goes on to explain his injury as dad Grey replies: ‘Ah you’re a brave boy aren’t you?’ 

In another snap Greg posted a picture of Arthur laughing on a sun lounger captioned ‘still smiling’ despite his injured leg. 

It comes as Greg, who also shares six-year-old Nelly with Billie, revealed to new! that lockdown has made him realise that he is not ‘quite ready’ to expand their brood. 

Asked about the possibility of more children, he said: ‘Well, you’ve asked me straight after lockdown. 

‘In lockdown, I was like, this is why we can’t have anymore. We’re not quite ready at the moment and we’ve got a house to sort and it’s the wrong time but I’d never say never.’ 

Greg also revealed how he plans to renew his vows with Billie in a romantic getaway to the Maldives to celebrate their five-year anniversary after the couple tied the knot on the island of Kuramathi last March.  

The mother-of-two has been sharing snaps from their getaway which has seen the family donning life jackets while canoeing on the lake house together. 

And the Shepherds are joined by mother Suzie Wells, 50, and Sam Faiers and Billie’s step-father Dave Chatwood. 

Suzie and her ex-husband Dave were seen dipping their toes in the lake together on Billie’s Instagram, captioned: ‘They love each other still really’.
