Big Brother has been EVICTED from its Manly house in Sydney with producers now on the hunt for a new location as filming wraps on 2021 season

Channel Seven will wrap filming on Big Brother Australia’s second rebooted season over the next two weeks.

But after the final housemates leave the house, which is situated in Sydney’s Manly, it will apparently be retired for good.

According to TV Blackbox, producers are looking for a new location after being served an eviction notice by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

They’re out! Big Brother has been EVICTED from its Manly house in Sydney with producers now on the hunt for a new location as filming wraps on 2021 season

The publication claimed that production company Endemol Shine Australia only had a two-season deal for use of the site – which they’ve filmed inside a purpose-built studio inside a warehouse.

Former Big Brother 2012 winner Ben Norris reported on The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show, that an eviction notice was served by the National Parks and Wildlife Service over concerns for local wildlife.

He claimed the renewal of the location contract was not made as the production had increased unwanted traffic and interest to the area.

Ben claimed Cockatoo Island was a strong contender, while a return to Dreamworld theme park on Queensland’s Gold Coast could be possible.

Daily Mail Australia had contacted Channel Seven for comment.

Big Brother was previously filmed in a $13million house and production facility at Dreamworld, but the property was burned down by children in 2019.

Last year, it was reported production company Endemol Shine ruled out returning to Dreamworld after the original house was destroyed.

Returning to Queensland could also force the production company to fork out accommodation for the crew, as the majority of them live in Sydney or Melbourne.
