Big Brother evictee Ian Joass is all smiles as he returns to nature and quotes Shrek

Two thumbs up! Big Brother evictee Ian Joass is all smiles as he returns to nature and quotes Shrek

He describes himself as the ‘mythical missing link between bogan and nerd’.

So it’s little surprise Big Brother evictee Ian Joass quoted the beloved 2001 animated movie Shrek while exploring Manning Lake in Western Australia on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old fan favourite, who enjoys collecting fossils when he’s not working as a waiter, happily posed in front of a muddy section of the lake.

‘What are you doing in my swamp?’ Ian Joass hilariously quoted Shrek as he explores swampland… after his eviction from the Big Brother house

Ian donned the wide-brimmed hat and Hawaiian shirt he rocked in the Big Brother house for the occasion.

‘What are you doing in my swamp?’ Ian wrote in the caption, quoting the Dreamworks film.

Contestant Daniel Gorringe commented on the Instagram post, asking: ‘You looking for a bigger crown to put on that head?’

‘Where would I put my hat pins though,’ Ian replied.

Ian was evicted from Big Brother on Sunday night’s episode.

The Perth native momentarily sat in disbelief as he realised most of the house had turned against him.

With the majority of votes for the evening, Big Brother asked Ian to say his goodbyes and vacate the compound.

Leaving the house, Ian shed a tear in the car as he reflected on how ‘proud’ he was of his time on the show.

He originally joined the show to make friends and become more outgoing and comfortable in social settings.

Big Brother continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Seven
