As the number of people testing positive for coronavirus continues to climb in New York City, Bella Hadid left her apartment in New York City with extreme caution.

The 23-year-old supermodel, who was joined with her mom Yolanda Hadid, held a black scarf protectively around her mouth and carried a green juice in her hand.

She was accompanied by her mother,  former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda Hadid, 56, who pulled her grey turtleneck above her head.

The two were laden down with luggage, and looked as though they may be leaving the city.

Worried: Bella and Yolanda both suffer from Lyme disease, which compromises their immune systems, and makes the outbreak pose a greater risk to the pair

To depart her place, Bella carried multiple bags and sported black trousers, a matching denim jacket and boots.

Her former model mom kept a classic look in denim bottoms and white trainers.

Like her mother, Bella suffers from Lyme disease, which compromises their immune systems.

The pair’s outing comes a day after the Big Apple cancelled their St Patrick’s Day parade for the first time in more than 250 years due to the coronavirus outbreak.

There have been at least 20 confirmed coronavirus cases in New York and the city has yet to enact any official isolation measures, though Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency and is limiting gatherings of more than 500 people.

On Thursday, it was also announced the city is shutting down 41 Broadway venues and the Metropolitan Museum, the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall were suspending visits and performances.
