Bachelorette viewers call for Adam Todd to be the next Bachelor

Adam Todd was sent home on Wednesday night after failing to receive a rose from Elly Miles.

And now, viewers of Channel Ten’s The Bachelorette are calling for the 24-year-old geologist to be the next Bachelor.

‘I never tweet but this needs to be said. Adam for Bachelor 2021,’ one person wrote.

‘I’m applying if Adam is 2021 Bachelor,’ another one tweeted. ‘ADAM FOR BACHELOR 2021. Make it happen,’ one person commented.

‘All the girls signing up for The Bachelor 2021 now if there’s a chance that Adam will be the Bachelor,’ another person said.

‘It’s okay, I would of given Adam my rose,’ another tweeted. ‘I’ve hardly watched this season but Adam is an absolute catch,’ one agreed.

Another person commented: ‘I’ve watched barely any of this season but she just let the best bloke go.’

During Wednesday night’s episode of The Bachelorette, Adam was sent home after failing to tell Elly how he felt about her.

It appeared to have been a difficult decision, leaving Elly sobbing as she walked him outside to his waiting car.

‘You have been who you are from the very start and that’s why you stood out so much for me,’ she told him in between floods of tears.

‘Whoever ends up with you, like, bloody hell, they’re gonna be such a lucky person. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.’

Despite being left heartbroken, Adam tried his best to console Elly, with the two sharing one last hug before going their separate ways.

‘Elly’s the most beautiful and lovely person I’ve met. I’m always gonna care about Elly,’ he reflected on the car ride home.

‘She’s… amazing. Yeah, I liked Elly. She made me feel really, really special.’
