Ayda Field was left devestaed over the weekend after her beloved cat Milo passed away at 18-years-old.
She and husband Robbie Williams recorded a video and posted it to Instagram thanking fans for their support and well-wishes, after the pair were flooded with sweet messages in light of the upsetting news.
Ayda appeared make-up free, clearly emotionally drained, asking her followers to excuse ‘the big bags under my eyes’ as she expressed her gratitude for all the messages she received and how it made her feel better.

She admitted that ’18 years is a very long journey in anyone’s life whether its a person or a fur baby… a soul that touches you’ and that she has been sobbing for 15 hours.
She then told a story of when she first had Milo and how he would wake her up to go to work – ‘something he did til the end’.
Originally breaking the news, Ayda posted a snap of the sweet cat, captioning it: ‘Milo… almost 18 years have passed since you bounded into my life as a kitten. I was just a young girl, starting out as an actress, finding my way through the world.
‘With every job I didn’t get or boy who broke my heart (yes, I’m talking to you @robbiewilliams) you comforted my tears with your cuddles and protected me each step of the way.

‘Anyone that has ever had the love of an animal may understand, and those who have not, may never understand. But, to those who do, I hope my little Milo meets your little furry souls on his journey tonight.

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field have reportedly forked out a cool £24million on an incredible mansion in Switzerland after moving their family to Geneva.
The singer, 46, and his actress wife, 41, are believed to have moved to the shores of Lake Geneva with their children Teddy, seven, Charlton, five, Coco, 23 months, and Beau, six months, according to the Sun.
Robbie and his family first moved to the country last year in a bid to avoid catching coronavirus, before holidaying in St Barts over New Year where he contracted the potentially deadly virus.

The couple have reportedly told pals that they love the relaxed ‘pace of life’ in the country and have even enrolled their children in a school there.
The family appear to have fully immersed themselves in the lifestyle as Robbie has also joined exclusive golf club De Genève near his new pad.
The publication reported that after first moving to Switzerland last year the family have now made their move permanent.
The Sun reported that Robbie cut a deal with businessman Nicolas Brunschwig over the 356 square-metre Swiss villa during a game of golf.

A source said: ‘The Golf Club De Genève is very exclusive. You have to know the right people to even to get a look-in and that’s before even paying the massive fees.
‘Robbie is a first-class golfer and loves it there. He met Brunschwig and they did the deal.
‘Robbie and his family are delighted. They love the pace of life here. They love the open space and the lake nearby. The neighbourhood is used to wealthy inhabitants and their privacy is totally respected.’
The Williams’ property is built in the style of a traditional Genevan villa with a long sweeping tree-lined drive and gated entrance.
A representative for the couple declined to comment.

Robbie is currently reportedly quarantining at a £106,000-a-week villa in St. Barts with his family after contracting coronavirus.
It is thought that the Williams family spent some of December at their London home before jetting abroad, with Robbie performing on the Strictly Come Dancing final on December 18.
Robbie also appeared on British TV show Jonathan Ross and Ayda was seen on Loose Women as she called in via video by her Christmas tree.
Back in September, Robbie revealed he was living in Switzerland amid the coronavirus pandemic.

During an interview with Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2, the musician insisted he’s opted to temporarily reside ‘up a mountain’ in a bid to avoid contracting COVID-19 as he’s ‘a bit neurotic’.
When asked he’s living in his Los Angeles or Malibu home, the media personality said: ‘No I’m not. I’m somewhere in Switzerland up a mountain.
‘Well, I’m a bit neurotic and I thought where can I place myself where it won’t get me? And I thought, well I’ll just live up the Mont Blanc for 6 months… it’s really warm actually, it’s really lovely.’

On how the global outbreak has affected his lifestyle, the former Take That star admitted while he loves spending time with his children, he’s eager to get back to ‘doing what I love’.
The singer said: ‘The performing arts is suffering greatly because of it and, on a personal note from me, I’m so grateful to do what I do for a living and can’t wait to get back to work and start performing again.
‘I’m loving my time with my family, I’m loving my time with my wife, I’ve got 4 kids – it’s joyous – but I’m chomping at the bit now to leave the house and do what I do for a living and what I love.’
