Incredible footage of stunt artists performing parkour on city buildings was used to tease the changed format.

Described as ‘a new era’, a voiceover said: ‘For the first time ever it’s Ninja vs. Ninja, side by side, head to head as they face a Ninja first… the all mighty Power Tower.’

The Power Tower appears to be a tall structure, which has gymnastic rings, ropes and ladders attached.

Host Ben Fordham is seen commentating with co-host Rebecca Maddern in the clip.

‘And there it is, a whole new battleground, a new giant,’ Ben said, as footage is shown on the new dual course.

Rebecca added in the trailer: ‘Can they make it through the Power Tower to conquer Mt. Midoriyama?’

The promotional trailer also hinted that a few familiar fan-favorites would be returning for their chance at redemption.

Last year’s finalist Jordan Papandrea, retired professional NRL player Eloni Vunakece, and disco Ninja Betsy Burnett were seen in the teaser.
