Ashley James goes makeup-free as she poses in a turquoise bandeau bikini

She is isolating with her boyfriend in her London flat amid the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.

And Ashley James looked radiant as she shared two makeup-free selfies while enjoying a ‘slow-paced Sunday’ in the sunshine.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 33, slipped into a turquoise bandeau bikini from Elizabeth Hurley’s Beach line as she relaxed with a book on her terrace.

The body confidence advocate flaunted her ample cleavage in the strapless two-piece, while sweeping her blonde locks into a messy top knot.

Ashley shared a lengthy caption where she told fans lockdown has been a ‘test’ but she is trying to just ‘be in the moment’.

The beauty shared: ‘Slow paced Sundays.

‘As humans we like to either live in the past, romanticising memories and people and feeling a sense of nostalgia, or we look to the future: setting ourselves goals and thinking we’ll be happy once we’ve achieved X and Y.

‘It takes work to really live in the present and be content, and I feel like lockdown has been a big test of that, for me. I’m trying not to think about what life was like, or how life might be, but just be in the moment.

‘I’ve been enjoying a Sunday in the sunshine with my new book, which loads of you recommended to me – thanks for that, I love that you know me so well.

‘I’ve also starting my hunt for the perfect summer dresses for girls with big boobs and I’m going to put together a lookbook, so any suggestions please throw them my way.

‘I get asked a lot about bikinis too, so maybe it would be useful to show some of my favourite bikini brands too? This one is @elizabethhurleybeach, and I like it because I means no strap marks. Always good to have a nice strapless bikini.’

Ashley is currently isolating with her boyfriend – whose name is yet to be made public – but after six years of being single prior to meeting her new man she recently admitted she finds it difficult to talk about her relationship.

Posting a snap of the pair in April, she wrote: ‘I still find it really awkward talking about my relationship.

‘I’ve still got so much single pride and am fiercely independent, and I want to continue to encourage everyone to feel positive if they’re single.

‘But I’ll say this. Before meeting this guy, I worried that perhaps being single for so long I’d become TOO independent to ever be happy with someone.

‘I didn’t want another half or someone to complete me, I didn’t want a ‘best friend’, as I already have some.’

Admitting that she was worried she would have to change herself to be with someone else, she continued: ‘I worried I’d have to tone down my opinions or compromise who I was to be with someone.

‘But I’ve found someone equally as independent, encouraging, so loving, so good at not taking my s**t, and more importantly someone emotionally available from the get go.

‘Someone who supports my insistence on celebrating Valentine’s Day with all my friends so I never leave anyone out if they aren’t in a relationship.’

She continued: ‘If I could go back a few years and give myself advice I’d say: stop making an effort with people who are making none.

‘If someone’s emotionally unavailable it’s their issue and has nothing to do with you or what you’re doing.

‘Stop trying to save or fix people, that is not your job. That’s not love. Save your amazingness for someone who deserves it and in the meantime enjoy your friendships, start new hobbies, learn new skills, travel.

‘I’m so happy I got so many years putting 100% of my energy into my friendships, and can continue to do so in an independent relationship.

‘Sorry if this is a bit gushing, but credit where credit is due: He’s a keeper.’
