As the global coronvirus pandemic continues, people are being urged to stay at home in quarantine for a matter of weeks, meaning Ariana and Dalton could be getting increasingly closer during the stint.

Insiders revealed to TMZ that the couple have been dating for months. The sources claimed the man in Ariana’s kissing video was in fact Dalton.

A representative for Ariana declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.

Additionally, Dalton recently shared an image while posing alongside Miley Cyrus, who moves in the same circles as Ariana.

Her union comes as welcome news following the recent tough times Ariana has faced after she was forced to ask for urgent protection against a stalker who turned up at her home last weekend.

The singer filed a restraining order on Friday for protection from a man who managed to get onto her Los Angeles property and knock on her door. Ariana’s mother Joan is also asking for protection, TMZ reports.

The crazed fan, a man in his 20s, was arrested at around 2pm on Saturday after managing to bypass security and knock on Ariana’s front door. It was one of Ariana’s property managers who answered the door to the stalker who asked for the singer.

Police were called and the fan was found to have a love note to Ariana including directions to her home. Police arrived and booked him for misdemeanor trespassing and felony battery after he allegedly spat on one of the police officers arresting him.

The incident came just two weeks after Ariana was the victim of a hoax 911 call at her Los Angeles home.

Emergency services were alerted following a report of a shooting on the pop superstar’s property, according to TMZ.

Police officers were sent to investigate the report, where they quickly ascertained that nothing was wrong.

It’s understood the singer had been swatted, a term referring to the harassing tactic of deceiving emergency services into sending a response team to another person’s address.
