Ariana Grande embraced 90s vibes as she stopped by her LA recording studio on Sunday morning.

The Rain On Me songstress, 27, looked sassy in a black and blue ensemble which looked like it could have been plucked straight from the set of Clueless.

Ari rocked a tiny knit top with a zip-down the center along with a pair of baggy jeans with rips at the knees.

Totally rad: Ariana Grande donned a 90s-inspired look while heading to an LA recording studio on Sunday

Combat boots added a tough and trendy twist to her outfit while a Fendi bag offered the perfect hint of designer luxury.

Her hair was styled into her signature high ponytail, a look she glammed up a bit with some pearly clips. And while most of her face was hidden with a mask, the Thank You, Next singer could be seen sporting bold winged eyeliner.

It looked like Ariana was ready for a full day at the studio, arriving with her laptop under arm while she fueled up with an iced coffee from a local shop.

The Stuck With U songstress gave fans a tiny hint about her recording session via her Instagram story.

She reposted a video from friend and former Victorious co-star Matt Bennett’s Instagram Story that showed a screen with a music player on it.

If you looked hard enough you could read the words ‘In My Head duet.mp3’ – the name of a song off her fifth album Thank You, Next.

And it the background a snippet of the track played.

‘This is TOO GOOD,’ Bennett wrote on top of the pic, also tagging Ariana and producer/DJ Shintaro Yasuda.

Adding her own commentary in the repost, Grande wrote ‘my favorite thing’ in itty bitty text.

Matt and Yasuda previously teamed up to create an emo-punk cover of her hit 7 Rings as a gift for Ariana’s birthday. It was possible the track was a continuation of that project.

Though Grande was visiting the studio, she told fans not to expect new material anytime soon while talking to Zane Lowe in May.

Asked about any forthcoming projects, she said: ‘There’s nothing to tell. I’m not putting one out. Talk to you when that’s, I mean, I’ve been making stuff. I’ve been making a lot of stuff, but that’s not where my head is at right now.’
