Ant Anstead shows off his cut physique after losing weight from his breakup with Christina Anstead

He’s taking advantage of the new year to turn a new leaf. 

Ant Anstead showed off his toned and slimmer physique in a trio of Instagram shots on Sunday, while he was playing with his one-year-old son Hudson on the beach. 

The Wheelers Dealers star, 41, smiled joyously as he frolicked in the surf, wearing dark blue swim trunks and a pair of shades. 

In the caption, Anstead wrote, ‘Making the very most of these few days off!! It’s about to get very BUSY…….!!’

And last week on New Year’s Eve, the British-born hunk posted another selfie showcasing his muscled arms as he sat on top of a car with its engine exposed. 

In the caption for that shot, Ant detailed the ‘tough’ year that was 2020 for him and others, also making sure to focus on the ‘many positives’ of the year. 

Among those positives he listed were a reference to his recent body transformation:

‘I lost a load of weight (but got super healthy).’ 

Others included how the TV star ‘just signed the biggest contract of my life (and its not a TV show). 

‘I am thankful for all the great things this year has delivered and I have found myself smiling a lot,’ the father of three continued.  

‘I start the new year with gratitude and purpose! I cannot wait to share what’s coming…’

In September, Ant split from HGTV star Christina Anstead, who is mom to his son Hudson.

He recently spoke to People Magazine about the path he’s taken to self-improvement after the breakup, which he maintains was not his decision.

‘I have deliberately and intentionally done a load of healing for myself,’ Ant explained.

‘Not only have I improved my mental health, I’ve actually made a real conscious decision to go and improve my physical health, as well. I mean, for the first time in my life, I’m actually now taking vitamins!’
