Anderson Cooper reveals his ex Benjamin Maisani will co-parent son Wyatt: ‘He’s my family’
Anderson Cooper says his ex Benjamin Maisani will co-parent his newborn son Wyatt.
The journalist explained why he and Maisani are raising their son together during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Monday night.
‘He’s my family and I want him to be Wyatt’s family as well,’ said the first time dad, 52.

Cooper also revealed that Maisani was in the delivery room with him when the surrogate carrying Wyatt gave birth.
The former couple are still close, even though they ended their three-year relationship in March of 2018.
Upon their split, the pair said they ‘are still family to each other, and love each other very much.’

But some sources are say the couple have rekindled their romance.
‘Anderson has reconciled with Ben,’ a source told Us Weekly.
‘They very quietly got back together and are planning ahead. Ben is selling one of his clubs and cutting back on how much he does at night so he can spend more time at home with Anderson and the baby.’
In addition to having Benjamin at his side, Anderson also has a stellar support system of friends.

The son of Gloria Vanderbilt said that pal Andy Cohen has been super helpful, even offering Cooper some of his son Ben’s hand-me-down clothes.
‘He’s actually really helped me because my son is entirely wearing hand-me-downs from Andy Cohen’s son,’ Cooper revealed.
