Amanda Holden cuts an elegant figure in a blue midi dress and matching jacket

She rarely fails to put a foot wrong in the style stakes.

And Amanda Holden pulled out all the stops as she cut an elegant figure while arriving at Global studios in central London on Friday morning.

The radio presenter, 49, looked lovely in a chic blue midi dress teamed with a matching cropped jacket in the same hue.

Amanda teamed her formal look with a pair of strappy heels, while adding a designer touch with a silver Louis Vuitton bag, which was embossed with the brand’s logo.

The blonde beauty wore her golden locks in a bouncy blown out style, while accentuating her pretty features with a glamorous coat of make-up.

Her appearance comes after she recently revealed her husband Chris Hughes helps to keep her ‘sane’, when she is targeted by trolls on social media.

The TV judge has learned to cope with the nasty comments over time and has hailed the influence of record producer Chris.

Amanda told the Daily Star: ‘I’m so lucky that when I started out, social media wasn’t invented because I might not have got through it.  

‘It’s difficult but I am very lucky because I’ve got a very strong relationship.

‘I’ve got a very strong husband who is very sensible and not like me in any way. He cuts through all the bull***t and keeps me sane.’

Amanda and Chris have been married since December 2008 when the couple tied the knot at Babington House in Somerset. 

The couple share daughters Alexa, 14, and Hollie, eight.
