Abbey took to Instagram Stories to ask for help from other parents as Liberty refused to do her schoolwork.

She said: ‘I don’t know how you’re all feeling, home school begins I’m currently sitting here waiting for my daughter to have maybe her eighth wee of the morning to get out of schoolwork.

‘I just want to know if anyone’s got any tips for me because it’s not going too well in this house.’

Abbey then shared a snap of Liberty perched on the chair refusing to do her work, with the caption: ‘This is what I’m dealing with.’

It appeared Liberty was more concerned with enjoying a snack on the sofa then learning her sums, as another video saw Abbey ask her: ‘Why won’t you do your work for mummy? You know but you have to.’

Later Abbey returned to social media after reading some of the messages she’d received from fans with their range of ideas, with one hinting she may need some Dutch courage.

‘The kids must be feeling it too not being in the classroom with their friends and having to learn at home when they’re not used to doing that must be tough on them.

‘We just need to take a minute, we’re doing OK we can do this.’
