Justin Bieber announces new album titled Justice to ‘provide comfort’, help fans ‘feel less alone’

Justin Bieber announced his latest album release: Justice.

The 26-year-old singer revealed the title and cover image of his upcoming sixth studio album on his social media accounts on Friday.

‘In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet we all crave healing and justice for humanity. In creating this album my goal is to make music that will provide comfort, to make songs that people can relate to and connect to so they feel less alone,’ he captioned the announcement post on Instagram.

‘Suffering, injustice and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren’t alone. Music can be a way to relate to one another and connect with one another,’ he continued explaining his high hopes for the music’s impact.

‘I know that I cannot simply solve injustice by making music but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet and each other that we are that much closer to being united. This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal,’ the Canadian pop star concluded.

Justin also shared the moody cover image, which features the star sitting in a dirty city tunnel while sporting black jeans and a black sweater. The album will be available on March 19th.

The news comes just over a year after the release of his previous collection Changes. The hit album debuted at number one on both sides of the Atlantic and was certified platinum in the United States.

Bieber has been hard at work on his latest music, clearly inspired by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent racial reckoning that took place around the globe.

The musician has posted numerous images on his social media accounts of himself rehearsing music and recording in the studio.

His most recent singles, Holy and Anyone, both cracked the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, proving there is massive interest in Justin’s latest material.

Bieber returned to music after taking a long hiatus to get his personal life and mental health in check.

When announcing his break on social media in 2019 he told fans that he would be working on fixing ‘deep rooted issues’.

The newer songs showed a more brooding, contemplative version of the artist than the upbeat, choreography-sporting pop star fans were used to.

Considering he is up for four Grammy Awards this year, including Best Pop Vocal Album, the changes appeared to have paid off.

The Biebs’ wife, 24-year-old wife Hailey Bieber, also shared the album news on her own Instagram story.

He dropped an intimate black and white music video for his current hit love song, Anyone, starring the supermodel last month.

In the artsy video, he is seen frolicking in his undies while gushing about his romance.

The deeply personal footage sees the couple half-dressed in their under garments snuggling together, nuzzling into each other’s necks and kissing.

The sweet moments are captured in grainy black and white, and are mostly close up shots of Hailey that appear to have been shot by the crooner himself.

Anyone is a love ballad from husband to wife about how, regardless of what may happen in the future, Justin will always love Hailey.

Bieber sings: ‘You say that I won’t lose you, but you can’t predict the future // So just hold on like you will never let go // Yeah, if you ever move on without me // I need to make sure you know that.’

And the Versace spokesperson added that they share everything – even eye cream and a hairbrush – as they continue to settle into married life.

They even try health tricks together.

‘Both my husband and I are really healthy, so sometimes we’ll do it at the same time,’ she said as she pushed Bare Minerals products.

The star and her love, who has battled Lyme Disease, also both do liver detoxes.

‘I did a cleanse where I was flushing my liver and just drinking a ton of water and juice and tea and soups,’ she said.

‘There’s so many different things you can do, like sitting in a sauna is detoxing or an Epsom salt bath.’

And they share almost everything.

‘We use the same hairbrush all the time, which I feel like when you’re married or you live with someone, you just start to use each other’s s***,’ said the daughter of Stephen Baldwin.
